Countries that are allowing Indians without quarantine

Last year Pandemic hit hard on all countries; In order to prevent its spreading, countries put several travel restrictions taking into consideration the health guidelines issued by WHO and various factors in countries. However, the world is now slowly coming back to its place so is travel. Many countries have lifted their international travel, but not all are allowing travelers without mandatory quarantine. However, few countries lifted the Quarantine requirement of Indian travelers with few conditions and guidelines. 

Let’s find out which countries you can travel to without quarantine. 

USA

Recently, in early November, White house Pandemic coordinator Jeff Zeints announced to the media that international travelers could travel across the USA as long as they provide proof of vaccination before boarding and negative Covid-19 test results within three days of arrival. However, they have yet to reveal how visas will be issued and what vaccines will be accepted. 

Maldives

The Maldives was a hub for celebrities and influencers after a long lockdown. Many people were traveling to the Maldives as they lifted travel bans from India. Indians can travel without quarantine by providing proof of vaccination or negative covid-19 test results within 96 hours of traveling. 

Canada

Canada held strict travel restrictions from India as all direct flights were abruptly halted connecting to India, but they recently lifted all travel bans for international travelers. Initially, Indian travelers had to provide RT-PCR negative results When traveling through another country to Canada, but now, Indians can travel without Quarantine restrictions. 

Switzerland

Switzerland lifted travel restrictions months ago in June. Indians traveling to the country can go without quarantine until they are inoculated with WHO-approved vaccines. 

UK

The UK has recently opened its international border for travelers. They announced fully vaccinated Indian travelers can visit the UK without Quarantine, where initially travelers have to take the mandatory covid-19 test and 14-day quarantine. However, only those jabbed with Covishield can travel without quarantine; travelers with Covaxin Dose have to take a ten days quarantine as this vaccine is yet to be approved by the UK government. 

UAE

The UAE government lifted all the travel restrictions on September 12 from travelers vaccinated with WHO-approved vaccines in order to run Dubai Expo 2020, which is currently running. Indian travelers who are inoculated with vaccination can travel the country without mandatory quarantine. 

Australia

Australia placed Strict travel restrictions for its international borders, but now Australian citizens have started to return back to the country after a long wait of 18 months. They recently announced that they would open international borders for fully vaccinated travelers. Moreover, they have added India-made Covaxin into a list of accepted vaccines in the country. Those completed doses of vaccines can travel to Australia without Quarantine. 

Italy

The Embassy from Italy recently announced Indians can also be eligible for a Green pass and travel to Italy without Quarantine if they are fully vaccinated. As the European nation recently recognized Covishield into their list of accepted vaccines. So, you can travel to a European nation without quarantine if you’re fully vaccinated. 

Turkey

It’s been a month or more since Turkey lifted its 14-days mandatory Quarantine in September for those who spent 14 days in India before traveling to Turkey and fully Vaccinated passengers from India. Recently the Turkish government announced its approved vaccination list where Covishield is accepted, and Covaxin is yet to be approved. 

Kenya

During May, Kenya experienced its second covid-19 wave, but they recently announced, Indians can visit their country with a travel visa. Indian travelers can travel without quarantine provided vaccination proof and RT-PCR negative results. 

Germany

Germany has announced to remove its travel restriction for Indians aged 12 and above. Though, travelers have to follow certain regulations and guidelines such as negative Covid-19 test results, proof of vaccination, or proof of recovery from covid-19. The Indians who want to travel without quarantine should have certificates that include Adhar cards and passport numbers. 

Nepal

Indians vaccinated with Covishield and Covaxin can travel to Nepal without Quarantine. Those traveling by road have to show visas on arrival; travelers have to follow certain rules and guidelines given by the government. Moreover, if you’re traveling to Nepal, you must have a few certifications, including vaccination proof, RT-PCR negative test results, etc. 

Thailand

Thailand lifted its travel ban from 18 countries, including India, on October 1. Fully vaccinated Indians are now allowed to travel to Thailand and avail of visas after arrival. As quoted by media reports, the travelers have to apply for certificate entry from the Thai Embassy on arrival. 

Apart from these, several other countries, such as France, Greece, Iceland, etc., have lifted their travel bans and allowed Indians to travel across their country with valid vaccination proof provided to them.
