What is ARTECHOUSE Miami?

ARTECHOUSE Miami is the first interactive art exhibition, with a showcase of over 60 works from some of the most talented artists in the country. You can come and explore a 3,000 sq ft, 1-acre lot for the best creative experience in South Florida.

Filled with unique sculptures and murals that change as you move around them, ARTECHOUSE  Miami offers limitless opportunities for exploration and education at any time. In addition to sculptures and murals in various formats that you can explore at your leisure or during one of the guided tours led by trained art docents, ARTECHOUSE  features an eye-catching mural designed by the world-renowned graphic artist RETNA on its building exterior.

What’s included in ARTECHOUSE Miami?

Sculpture, drawing, watercolor, and paint workshops from celebrated artists in the area. Live projections of artworks on large walls so you can learn how to do them yourself. A seasonal menu made with fresh ingredients from The Grove by David Burke.

How much does it cost?

ARTECHOUSE is free to attend and open 24 hours a day. All you need is your I.D., so don’t worry if you forget your keys at home. There are 15 works of art inside, each one interactive in its way, allowing guests to create something new for themselves on a moment-to-moment basis.

Guests can choose from four types of outfits, and 18 different filters and take over the space in virtual reality using Oculus Rift equipment. They can also look through the artwork from outside the museum using their phones or tablets with Google Cardboard headsets and speakers.

What are the hours of operation?

ARTECHOUSE Miami is open daily, Monday-Friday from 11 am-6 pm and Saturday and Sunday from 11 am-7 pm.

Admission to the exhibit is complimentary of the price of the tour. Be sure to RSVP your spot on the website before coming out.

The last entry for any given day is 30 minutes before closing time, or when all galleries are full; whichever comes first. On weekends, admission will continue as long as galleries are not full but the last entry will be one hour before closing time on most Saturdays and Sundays. This can vary for some events so please check the calendar for specific dates.

Where can I park?

Since it is located in the heart of the Wynwood Arts District, parking options are plentiful. In addition, two street-side spots (Wynwood Blvd and NW 29th Street), and a back lot with plenty of free parking.

The staff will gladly point you in the right direction as you’re on your way in. That being said, the proximity also means that there is a great deal of foot traffic, so it’s always best to wear comfortable shoes!

Do I need to make reservations?

Before you join ARTECHOUSE Miami, you must review the FAQs and the reservation procedure. Visit the homepage and click on Reservation and Pricing Info. There are a limited number of reservations available per day, and they do sell out quickly.

Below are some more details regarding the reservation process:

  • A $5 non-refundable deposit is required for each reservation.
  • The remaining balance of your order is due at the end of your visit or up to 24 hours in advance.
  • You will receive a confirmation email for every reservation made, please keep this email handy as it contains information about your appointment time, date, and several guests.

Are pets allowed at ARTECHOUSE Miami?

Dogs are permitted at ARTECHOUSE on-leash. Please keep in mind that dogs on leash may get a little overexcited and want to explore the building.

Dogs should be supervised by their owner at all times. Kids with leashed dogs must also be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times as there are some dangerous obstacles in the exhibition spaces.

When is the best time to visit?

Miami is home to tons of amazing sights and sounds. We should tell you when the best time to visit for each type of person. For party animals, a weekday evening will do just fine. Enjoying the late-night scene?

Is photography allowed inside ARTECHOUSE Miami?

A complimentary iPhone photography pass is available from the ArtFactory representative. Passes are good for one, two, or three hours of photography and allow for as many photographs as you would like to take inside.

Guests may bring their cameras if they wish or can borrow a camera with an extra memory card. Visitors cannot use flash photography inside the gallery areas due to lighting levels. Cameras are allowed in some public spaces but there are restrictions on video recording because of sound recording equipment that is utilized by some artists and performers inside the facility.
