Also known as the famous ISKCON temple, the architectural temple was built by the ISKCON which stands for International Society for Krishna Consciousness. The temple is constructed by the ISKCON community for letting the worshippers of Lord Krishna having this sacred place to worship. The beautiful monastery was built by the Tibetan Buddhist Monks who followed the spiritual leader Dalai Lama. The majestic temple houses a 100 feet stupa which founded by Kalu Rinpoche and the Buddhist architectural style of the Monastery is surely mesmerising. The monastery is famous for all the kinds five relics contained here along with lush greenery filled here.
The stupendous sanctuary along the banks of river Teesta has been getting visited by n number of tourists and wildlife lovers every year. The vast forest has been a house for many animals and migratory birds including species likes deer, tiger, sambar, Indian bison, elephant, Cheetah and many others. The forest is also an ideal place for people who love trekking.
A place made for tourists who love Science centres. Siliguri’s one of the most loved places is this Science centre and also is know as the North Bengal Science Centre. The institution is also renowned for having a huge planetarium for you to gain much knowledge about stars and a Nature Interpretation Centre is also present here.
The spectacular park was established by the Indian Army in Siliguri to let the town shine much brighter. The park is settled in absolute calmness and is also a renowned picnic spot for you to spend a nice sunny day here with your loved ones. This is actually a part of Sukna forest and the lush green surroundings of the place will make you feel completely relaxed here with not so many people crowding this place.
