Tungnath – The Highest Temple

Tungnath is the highest Shiva temple in the world. It is situated at an altitude of 3680 meters. You can surely expect an extraordinary view of the Himalayas from here. It is believed mythologically that Chandrashila is the place where Lord Ram meditated after defeating Ravana. The name ‘Chandrashila’ basically means “Moon Rock”.
