Kalugumalai

Tuticorin Port
Here is one of the major trading ports in India. A recent, it was renamed as V.O.Chidambaranar Port. It occupies second place in the list of largest ports due to its massive size. It becomes the nation’s premier port after the Sethusamudram shipping canal project because of its operations and management. In Tamilnadu, this is the third international one and second All-weather port. Its location is on the south-eastern coast of India. Our Lady of snows Basilica
It is a famous place of worship in Tamilnadu. , most tourists visit here to admire the building style of the church stuns everyone. It is one of the biggest in all of Tamilnadu. Kattabomman Memorial Fort
The government of Tamilnadu built the fort to honour the great freedom fighter Veerapandiya Kattabomma Karuthayya Naykkar allies, Kattabomman. But unfortunately, the British offered the death penalty after capturing him and his reign. The memorial is in the palace where the British government hanged him to death.
