The city of Cuttack is a famous city which renowned for the n number of tourists spots found here.

Cuttack is also known for being the second-largest city in Odisha and the former capital of the state too. This fort in Cuttack traces back to the 14th century that is during the rule of the Ganga dynasty. Located near the river Mahanadi, this fort provides amazing view. The fort is a 9 storeyed palace which is intricately carved and here you would also find a holy shrine dedicated to Katak Chandi. The Barbati Fort has a design which would easily prevent the attacks from the enemies and thus was considered as one of the most important forts in the state.
The breath-taking sanctuary that covers an area of around 650 sq. kms and is home to many endangered species. The rarest species of flora and fauna are found in the sanctuary and soke of the species found here include crocodiles, Olive Ridley Sea Turtles, Darters and much more. More than 215 species of migratory birds are found in the sanctuary. The sanctuary is also famous for being the second largest mangrove forest in India.

The Stone Revetment is a marvellous place and was initially constructed to obstruct flood water from entering the city.
