The Marleshwar Temple

The astounding temple which is dedicated to Lord Shiva is highly visited by many followers of Lord Shiva. The temple is also very close to the Dhareshwar waterfall and is built in a cave. Tourists will have to climb 520 steps to reach while enjoying the beautiful scenery it serves to reach the holy shrine. The breath-taking view and the pleasant atmosphere are highly cherished here. The temple is usually very much crowded during Mahashivratri. As per the legends the base of the temple was made by Lord Parshuram and the caves were formed here.

The Sawatsada waterfall

The spectacular waterfall in the region is one the most beloved destinations. The falls is highly advised to be visited during the monsoon season as thee stream flow is high and the cool water just makes you feel relaxed. The clear water and the lush greenery surrounding the walls is something truly enjoyable here and the pictures will assuredly come out well. The Guhagar beach

If you love beaches and local food then this beach is the right stop to make. The Guhagar beach is indeed a must to visit spot and being one of the longest beaches in the state, it is very famous. From being a perfect spot for people spending peaceful time to kids having fun in the play zone present here, the beach is also famous for the water sports facilities organised here.

The Parshuram temple

The ancient Temple is known for its unique carvings which are so traditional and goes well with the huge stone walls. The holy shrine is around 300 years old and tourists will find the beautiful blend of Hindu and Muslim architectural styles used to build the temple. The shrine is dedicated to the 6th incarnation of the Hindu deity. The temple’s premises have another shrine dedicated to the Goddess Renuka, mother of Parashuram and as per the belief the Bandganga lake is very essential. It was the place where Lord Parashuram shot five arrows.
