The Napier museum

The historic museum is not only famous for its beautiful architecture and structure but also the surrounding lush greenery is something that will win your heart. The museum is filed with may ancient paintings, sculptures and other antiques that are priceless. It was established around 150 years ago and many instrument elements are found here too. The museum also is renowned for the zoological garden which is one of the oldest in the country and work from Raja Ravi Varma, are preserved here too.

Observatory

If you are really interested in astronomy or just love to watch stars then do visit this astronomical observatory. From mind blowing greenery spread surrounding it to the facilities provided inside the observatory everything here will make you feel good. The observatory was built in 1837 and has an 11-inch telescope for better facilities to watch stars. The observatory was built by King Sri Swathi Tirunal who got all the instruments for it from Europe. There is also a library along with audio-video facilities CCD cameras for students to know much in detail about astronomy.

Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple

The gold plates temple is one of the 108 Divya Desams and is highly visited by n number of Hindu followers every year. The temple is dedicated to Lord Padmanabha and as the temple is one of the main temples that follows Vaishnavism, many worshippers visit the holy sacred Hindu Shrine. The temple is very much similar to the Adikesavaperumal Temple and as per the belief this temple was established on the first day of Kali Yua. Thus, it traces back to 5000 years ago and the temple is also mentioned in many Holy Hindi scrips including n the Bhagwat Gita.
