The Golden Bridge

As the name goes by the golden bridge is the place which connects Ankleshwar and Bharuch stretching at a length 1412 m. You can get a clear view of beautiful Narmada river and the bridge is also known as Narmada bridge. The best part of the bridge is that although it was constructed during the British era it is to date very strong and stands gorgeously. The British started the work of construction on 7th of December 1877 and it was completed on 16th May 1881. The heavy expenditure and lots of hard work that is put in to the construction has surely paid off very well making this renowned tourist spot now.

The Ninai Waterfalls

The waterfall is the famous tourist place and it is very close to the main Bharuch railway station. The height of the waterfall will range around 30 feet and it has the clearest water to take a dip into. Also located near to the Shoolpaneshwar wildlife sanctuary the waterfall is covered with dense trees in all of its surroundings make it very chilled temperature over there. The Dediapada’s dense forest and the clear cool water just makes this place a very fun picnic spot.

The Shoolpaneshwar wildlife sanctuary

The protected area was established in 1982 and consists of the breath-taking Zarwani waterfall in it. Surrounded by the Rajpipla hills the place is just the true meaning of nature’s beauty and is famous among the tourists for its flora and fauna. The moist forest initially became a protected land for sloth bears and now you can see many varieties of turtles, snakes, chameleons, toad, frogs and much more here.

The Nilkantheshwar Mahadev temple

The beautiful temple attracts many devotees to Bharuch and as the temple is situated on the banks of river Narmada which is a river considered to be very holy and sacred as per the Hindu mythology and thus many devotees consider the place to be very sacred. It is the centre of attraction for its huge idol of lord Hanuman that is present here and people visiting the temple never forget to visit the sacred river of Narmada Maiya. The temple is very much crowded as in the month of Shravan because of the grand pooja in the temple which is done with many festivities organized here.
