Dudhsagar Waterfalls Travel Guide

Dudhsagar Falls means the waterfall which is made of milk and being a four-tiered waterfall, it surely serves one of the most enjoyable scenery you will ever find in any other place in Goa. The water fall is about 30 metres in width and it falls from the height of 310 m, which makes it one of the tallest waterfalls found in the country. You will get to enjoy the pure water here in a surrounding filled with greenery and dense forest. The falls is actually pretty close to the Bhagwan Mahaveer Sanctuary and Mollem National Park. Surrounded with rich diversity this waterfall is also called as Tambdi Surla.

As just like the other waterfalls it is advisable to visit the place especially during the rainy season. However, the waterfall would not be completely dried off in the summers too. You can easily reach the place by the rail station and for all the trekkers out there, you will simply just fall in love with the place. It serves perfectly for trekking and a bit walking in the beauty of nature will surely make you never tired. Nevertheless, you can also take a car from the Bhagwan Mahavir Wildlife sanctuary to reach the waterfalls. The heavy flowing streams looks fully magical with the crystal-clear water found here. It is located very close to the village in Goa named Molem and there is also an association formed to help you reach out the place and you can contact them if you wish to do so. Well, during the monsoon seasons the streams gets heavily flooded with water and it becomes mandatory for tourist to hire a guide for helping you out in the trekking.
